        James Petersen is an education consultant, based out of Montreal, Quebec. A former high-school math teacher with the Lester B. Pearson School Board, he is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer, and currently a leader of the Google Educator Groups for both Montreal and Canada. He has experience teaching in a 1:1 program and delivering professional development to teachers and administrators on education technology. His passion is developing techniques to integrate educational technology tools and instructional strategies to support learning both in and out of the classroom. He moderates the Canadian Ed Chat twitter chat every Monday evening, connecting educators from around North America to discuss issues in education.
